O.H. MOHAMMAD & COMPANY was established in the year 1921 with offices in Osaka, London, Colombo, and Kutyana (Undivided) India.

Mr. Ibrahim Haji Noor Mohammad Dhedhi and his cousin Mr.Osman Adam Dhedhi established this company.

The company had a diverse line of businesses ranging from Textiles to Cable manufacturing. Till 1971 some of our major concerns included “Victory Textile Mills” Burma, “Weatherproof Packing material Industries” Dhaka, “Bangol Cables” Dhaka, “Orient Trading Company” Dhaka, “Cheap John” Upholstery Chain Stores – East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh), “Orient Electric” Electrical Appliances Chain Stores – East Pakistan.

After the Independence of East Pakistan in 1971, the son of Mr. Ibrahim Noor Mohammad continued his business in present Pakistan under the name of “Orient PVC Compound Industries”.

In the year 1976 Mr. Amin Dhedhi expanded the business and established a trading concern by the name of  “Amin Agencies” with interest in “Imports and distribution” of Polymers and Chemicals, working in harmony with a number of representatives of various companies in Pakistan such as: Union Carbide, Marubeni, Tiszechem Trading Company, Qapco, Equate, PIC (Kuwait) and NPCC.
